Okay so everyone knows that when you are trying to make the change from processed fattening foods to healthier foods it is tough... especially when you like sweets or salty snacks. Well right now as a health coach, I am changing my husband's and my diet a little at a time. I started making as much from home as I possibly can- that way I know exactly what is in my food. I have made applesauce, strawberry applesauce, bread, granola bars, cereal, etc. Well lately I have been at home after dinner and just wanting to eat something tasty but not fattening because I have overwhelming guilt when I eat something I know I will regret later... So I made some oatmeal cookies... and man are the delish!
so here it goes:
1 Cup Large Oats
3/4 Cup Steel Cut Oats
1 Cup Whole Grain Wheat Flour
1/4 Cup Flax Seed
1/4 Cup Fiber One Powder
1/2 Cup Honey
1/2 Cup Pure Oil (almond, olive, coconut)
1/3 Cup Coconut
1Large Egg
1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
Healthy Shake of Cinnamon
Healthy Shake of Nutmeg
About 8 packets of Cane ?Sugar
Put all the ingredients together and mix well. Now the mixture will be sticky but that is good. Put parchment paper out onto 2 cookie sheets. Use 1 Tbsp spoon and drop the cookies onto the parchment paper... make sure they are packed together really well. Cook at 350 degrees for about 16 minutes

Wanted to Point this out....
Hello everyone! I have started this blog to inform everyone on how to create products they use around the home organically and/or cheaper than buying from "THE MAN". Although I know that some of you may not have the time, money, space, etc to do some of these things on your own. This is why I will be selling some of my products! I accept credit/debit cards as well... On Facebook I have a page that shows some of what I have made as well!
https://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Healthy-By-Choice/308387195912727

Lotions
There are so many different ways to make lotion. Honestly some people use coconut oil- pure coconut oil. I make different types. I make some with shea butter, avocado/cucumber oils, tea tree oils, olive oils, etc. The best thus far has been almond oil (pure)
Lotion:
3/4 c pure oil
1 c hot water
essential oils
2 tbsp beeswax
Put oil and beeswax into a sauce pan. Wait until the beeswax has been melted. Put hot water in a blender and turn on high, slowly add the oil/beeswax mixture. It will begin to thicken. Add essential oils and any other additives. Put the blended lotion into jars and enjoy!!

Clean Sinks For CHEAP
Hello everyone! I discovered this on accident the other day...
I have been trying to clean my sinks for a long time, tried all different cleaners too. Finally I just decided to live with the fact that I have well water and my sink will never look like new again. Well I accidently spilled some baking soda into my sink... "Damnit" I recall myself saying. I grabbed the scrubby sponge (bought from dollar tree) and tried to clean it up along with a running sink...Then suddenly... my sink was again white...
Moral of the story.... baking soda and scrubby sponge.
Basically this is what you need to do:

DIY Gift for Mom!
Okay so for a lot of people out there money is tight and Mother's Day is right around the corner! Well my sister, China, just became a new mom a week ago and I thought I would make her a "Green" Tote! One she could fit her stuff in at the store or as a purse and one that says "Hey I'm a Mommy!".
Basically I just bought some "Green" totes from my local Hobby Lobby. I took a strip of cloth the same width as the tote. I heated up my glue gun and glued it about an inch and a half below the top. Once that was glued in place.. I simple pained "China" at the top and at the bottom I wrote "Nate's Mommy Est 2012". It is a simple but cute little project for kids to do for their moms or for you to do for yourself!

Amp up a plain old crew neck t-shirt and make a sexy date night shirt!
I have to admit I found this one on Pinterest awhile ago.
Okay so what you do is-
Oh and forgive the weird photo and jammies! But I'm sure you catch my drift! A nice little shirt that enhances your breasts!
xoxoJes
Okay so what you do is-
- You take a plain crew neck t-shirt that needs some spice.
- Turn the shirt inside out and lay it on a flat space (ie table)
- Take a good pair of sizzors and cut along the seem of the neckline.
- Once you have cut the shirt, find the middle of the shirt (where your clevage would be)
- Now take a thick needle and some strong thread.
- Next you are just going to sew in then go about 1/2 cm and push the needle back out.
- Now pull the thread towards you...
- if you have done this right, there should be a little "bunch" of the cloth together.
- Keep doing this about 1/4 of the way down the shirt
- Then take the thread and pull it really tight
- Tie off and bam!
Oh and forgive the weird photo and jammies! But I'm sure you catch my drift! A nice little shirt that enhances your breasts!
